FAQ
Do I need a Referral to book an appointment?
You do not need a referral to see a dietitian, you can book an appointment at any given time.
However, if you meet the eligibility criteria your GP can arrange a CDM (Chronic Disease Management plan) or an EDMP (Eating Disorder Management Plan) for you.
You may be rebated for up to 5 allied health visits under a CDM and 20 sessions under an
EDMP per calendar year
Does Private Insurance Cover Dietetic Services?
If you have private health insurance cover for extras, You can receive a rebate for dietetic service. Some funds cover 80 % of the session fee while other companies pay set amounts for initial and review consultations.
What Are The Fees?
At O-live Nutrition we do not offer Bulk-billing. Full fees are due at the time of consultation
and are outlined below:
Individual session (up to 60 minutes) $110
Individual session (up to 45 minutes) $90
Individual session (up to 30 minutes) $70
The length of the session is defined by the complexity of the presentation and discussed
prior to your booking. The frequency of the sessions and number of reviews depend on each person’s nutritional goals and health journey
What Is The Cancelation Policy?
There might be times where you won’t be able to attend the session. As your appointment time is set aside for you, we ask you to give 24 hrs notice for rescheduling or cancelling. No-shows or cancellations received within 24hrs of your booking will incur 50% of the session fee and will not qualify for bulk billing or rebates
